History

Simple Beginnings to Superb Service

CWS Corporate Housing began in 1995 as a local corporate housing company founded by Tracy Hayes in Austin, TX. While working in property management for CWS Apartment Homes, Tracy saw a business opportunity for fully furnished short-term rentals for business travelers. What started out as an amenity at one Austin community has now developed into a multi-million dollar corporate housing company.

In 2019, CWS acquired Gables Corporate Accommodations. CWS now has exclusive access to 46,000 apartment homes in 165 communities across 17 U.S. markets plus access to many of the 15,000 third-party-owned apartment homes managed by Gables Residential.

CWS Corporate Housing is dedicated to not only you and your well-being but also to the well-being of the community in which we live. It is for this reason that CWS Corporate Housing is involved in the B.R.I.D.G.E. program.

Each year, our employees dedicate hundreds of hours to volunteer work in the community and for every hour that our employees volunteer (up to 12 hours), CWS Corporate Housing donates $20 to help fund various causes that have been chosen by our employees.

From building homes and beautifying parks to teaching Sunday school and coordinating fundraising events, we invest our time and resources to break down the barriers that separate communities.

We believe that when we work together and get involved in a worthwhile cause, our respect for others is enhanced, and we really make a difference in our communities. That, in conjunction with a spirit of dedication and giving, makes our team and our company stronger.
